Banquet Staffing Ratios for Special Events
To ensure your event runs smoothly, it's essential to determine the right staffing levels. Below are industry-standard ratios for special events:
Traypass service for cocktail hours: 1 server per 25 guests
Dinner service (sit down): 1 server per table, up to 12 seats
Dinner service (buffet): 1 server per 3 chafing dishes (approximately 1 server per 25 guests)
Bussers for dinner service: 1 busser per 2 tables (up to 20 seats)
Banquet captains: 1 captain per 150 guests
These staffing ratios represent the minimum recommended levels. For upscale events or those with specific client requirements, additional staff may be suggested to ensure seamless service.
Our Team
Will arrive dressed in black button-down shirts, slacks, and black shoes. Formal attire is available for an additional cost (please inquire).
Waiters and bussers will have black serving trays, and disposable gloves will be used for food handling.
Servers are will not take the place of a bartender.
